WAVP Breakfasts to Continue at New Location

All are welcome to join us for breakfast on Saturday, February 14, at our new location: the American Legion Hall, 208 8th Ave. SW in Waverly. A different building, but the same time as always: 7:30 AM on the second Saturday of the month. Presently, we plan to use the Legion Hall until the new building is ready for use.

Attendance at the February breakfast was an all-time high. It would be nice if we could break that record this month. Anyway, the invitation is still the same, come for good food, fun and fellowship. And you still get to name the price.

The February breakfast got some interesting coverage in the Waverly Newspapers. Thank you, Anelia!

In Closing...

The WAVP Veterans Center honors the Veterans of yesterday, today and tomorrow. It recognizes and celebrates the sacrifice of those who served in past conflicts, those who serve today, and those whose service awaits them. These men and women and their families are ever mindful of the reality that freedom is not free. It is in this spirit that we build this very special home "Where Patriots Gather"
