New meeting time and new agenda
Meeting: First Tuesday of the month at the Waverly American Legion Hall
— 5:30 PM: Dinner, Introduction of New Members and Marine stories
— 6:00 PM: Regular meetings
— 7:00-7:30 PM: Social time
ALL Marines and Navy Corpsmen are welcome to attend and join.
Membership: $30 per year – Lifetime memberships available.
Dec. 21, 2016: The NE IA Marine Corps League Auxiliary and Marine Corps League would like to thank RADA Manufacturing for their generous gift to our organization of 100 steak knives. MISSION STATEMENT
Members of the Marine Corps League join together in camaraderie and fellowship for the purpose of preserving the traditions and promoting the interests of the United States Marine Corps. This is accomplished by banding together those who are now serving in the United States Marine Corps and those who have been honorably discharged from that service; voluntarily aiding and rendering assistance to all Marines and former Marines and to their widows and orphans, and by perpetuating the history of the United States Marine Corps through fitting acts to observe the anniversaries of historical occasions of particular interest to Marines.
PURPOSES
• To preserve the traditions and to promote the interests of the United States Marine Corps
• To hold sacred the history and memory of the men who have given their lives to the Nation
